Bill wanted an operations-oriented version of his beloved Virginian Railway, hampered somewhat by the inconvenient positioning of doors and fireplace in his layout room. We cleared the way for a long mainline and plentiful switching opportunities with a single deck design at the expense of some narrow right of way here and there.
