Ted Edwards' CP in Kicking Horse Pass

The Canadian Pacific's dramatic ascent of Kicking Horse Pass is a favorite modeling subject of my clients; I think this may be the fourth version of it I have designed. One trick is that the twin spiral tunnels that make the Pass so famous are primarily out of sight of the viewer, yet they consume a great deal of space, especially when designed at the 36" minimum radius Ted wanted to maintain for his brass steamers.
