Scott wanted to replicate the "Reading Rambles" of the 60s - fan trips behind steam that traversed a large loop including the Reading's Catawissa branch. Not a lot of room in 3-rail O scale, but using may favorite staging-in-the-helix trick we made it work.
Another in my Hershey-inspired pikes based on former Reading Lines through central Pennsylvania. This design uses an unusual wye arrangement to turn trains on either end for staging; I thought it was good use of what otherwise would have been wasted space.
Noted Reading modeler Rob Hinkle wanted an HO scale version of the former Reading line from Lebanon to Hummelstown. We took advantage of space in the back room to include a full wye in Lebanon and some additional industrial trackage.
